So, this debate seems to be (if you believe each camp’s spin thus far) between the guy who changes his mind whenever the breeze shifts and the guy who won’t change his mind even in the face of overwhelming reality wakeup calls.
Wow. They both seem a bit extreme.

Or more appropriately, we (the US Department of Homeland Security) didn’t know ye at all, since we confused you with another guy because of a spelling mistake and arrested you by accident.
Confused? OK, as little Rob would say, “Check this out!”
Cat Stevens (yes, that Cat Stevens) changed his name a looooong time ago to Yusuf Islam when he converted to the Islam faith. Fast forward to last week, when he boarded a plane in London and flew to the US. Once in the sunny US, however, Yusuf’s flight was diverted to Bangor, Maine, and the singer was detained for a couple of days for questioning. And then he was deported back to England.
You see, Yusuf’s name was on a list of people with terrorist ties. Nasty, right? Well, it would have been if it was really Yusuf Islam they were after. In fact, they were after a guy named Youssouf Islam, and Yusuf’s name got on the list by accident when someone make a spelling mistake.
I’m serious–check out Yahoo News for the story. Maybe it’s time for the Department of Homeland Security to get on the Peace Train and make with an apology ASAP. Before they really get in Trouble.
Cause these kind of tactics are really Miles from Nowhere. What a Wild World.
My pathetic puns are totally wasted here, aren’t they?
Am I like, the only person in the world who is bizarrely fascinated by Team America: World Police? It’s like those marionettes from 60’s TV kids shows on acid. Check out the trailer on Apple’s trailers page here. Or the teaser here. Just wild.
How can I stand it? Four hours and ten minutes of earthshakingly awesome storytelling.

This link here is much more fun if you’ve heard Baz Luhrmann’s 1999 song Everybody’s Free (to wear sunscreen)
Good to talk to you again. Busy time, but life will be back to normal soon. Compared to what, I don’t know. But it’s good to be back.
