I read a page that relates the “Top 5 Things That Should Be Taught In Every School.”

I love the list. I work in a school, and these things are taught in some areas, but I’d love to see these exact courses taught, all of them.

Of course, I’d like to see what PSSA standards they meet for the state testing that our kids must take.

I’d love to see what part of the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) act these courses address.

I love how the bureaucracy puts acts and tests and standards together that shortsightedly negate and inhibit real education that my kids could be getting.

No bitterness here, just annoyance at human nature in committees.

An animated stereogram. I used to be pretty good at the static ones, but six seconds? I’m sure it says something about my brain to eye focus…
