Good one. Made me laugh.

But it’s been a week and I am STILL blown away by this guy.

And it’s not just because he’s accompanied by one of my favorite pieces of music ever.

I hope you have a broadband connection. Download it and then play it for the best quality (click here to go to Google Video and get the video):

For more of Chris Bliss, go check out his website.

I guess I misled you again. Windows Vista isn’t being released in a month or two as we originally thought, or even November as I told you today.

It’s now pushed back to next January. 2007.

From CNet:

Chipmaker Intel declined to comment on the delay. Advanced Micro Devices had no public statement prepared when contacted by CNET News.com.

“Microsoft really dropped the ball on this one,” said Sam Bhavnani, a principal analyst with Current Analysis, in an e-mail interview. “There are significant negative ripples that will be felt throughout the personal computer industry.”

Wow. All this, after Microsoft stripped out so many features to make it to market. And how likely will it be that Vista will be delayed even more?

Don’t get me wrong, I want my next PC to have Vista. I just don’t want to grow old waiting for it.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m redoing my template, and teaching myself a few things more about markup and CSS.

In true bad form, I’m doing it live so you can all see the ugly process. Hold tight, it’s going somewhere.

Hopefully not off a cliff.

🙂

I can’t believe that the guy survived this crash–Bill posted it on his weblog.

Man. Maybe my van is good for something after all, at least as far as crash protection goes.

Sorry–the below tidbit just made me laugh. And it was on Andrew Sullivan’s blog, no less! In case you were unaware, Issac Hayes threatened to quit South Park because it “crossed the line” when it made fun of Scientology. Never mind the fact that it’s made fun of virtually every other religion on earth while Isaac happily collected his paycheck. If you haven’t already twigged to this, Isaac is a Scientologist.

Excerpted from Andrew Sullivan | The Daily Dish:

Yep, I can now confirm that Viacom and Comedy Central caved in to the Scientologists and Tom Cruise, but the South Park team are unrepentant. Here’s their official statement:

“So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail!  Hail Xenu!!!

– Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu.”

I wonder what Jobs has for us this time? I think that Foxtrot wonders too.

I was showing the kids a couple of little movies on my computer–puppet shows from vacation, you know the stuff.

But then I ran across the werbung movie, the one with the little car going around the mountain lane? The one where the ghoul jumps up in front of the camera and screams?

Yeah, I showed that to Alyssa and Drew. I told them it was scary at the end, but Drew put his face close to the screen too quickly for me to stop him. Then the ghoul jumped up in his face. The look on his face was truly horrified. I think I scared a year’s growth off him, and he doesn’t have that much to spare.

Now he wants Mommy to sleep with him. Not Daddy. Daddy is in trouble with Mommy. As soon as Mommy stops laughing, that is. Then I’m in big, big trouble.

Oops.

But this one takes the cake. Click here.

So these were the top ten moments of 2005 on the web, huh?

How did I possibly miss the Numa Numa Dance? More importantly, having successfully missed it in 2005, why did I have to be subjected to it now? Or the spawned imitations?

For extra credit (or extra dedication to pain), see this song (good animation), or this song ( the better song I thought, but my wife liked the first one better–she thought the bunny was cute).
